Heading home for the holidays is always an exciting but stressful time.  The joy that comes with seeing friends and family quickly slams up against the anxiety of packing for every possible occasion.  With limited space and lots of needs, it takes a good amount of thought and planning to get it just right.  Here are some of our recommendations to get you through this holiday season.

The Big Travel Day

Stress City! This day can take many twists and turns as you rush through the airport or wait in a long line to catch that last train. Maybe you’re just sitting for an excruciatingly long time in a car or bus.  No matter what the case is, you need to be comfortable. This is the time to make things easy on yourself, throw on a pair of comfortable heels, your favorite jeans, and stylish but easy to remove layers.

The Big Night Out

You’ve made it home, now it’s time to meet up with the girls.  You probably haven’t seen each other in a while, so you’re super excited to catch up over cocktails.  Unfortunately you know you’re bound to run into those former High School mean girls while you’re out. Now’s the time to show off your best self, make them just the tiniest bit jealous of how well you turned out. Grab your hottest booties, slap on your favorite red lipstick and break out that great dress you threw in at the last minute. Eat your heart out High School!

Last Minute Shopping

Oh no, you knew your forgot something. Whether it’s a gift for your niece or nephew, or something for that friend you didn’t think you’d be seeing, you’ll inevitably end up at the closest mall picking up some last minute treats.  Casually cool is the way to play this one.  Keep it simple but stylish with a great bootie, some black jeans, and your favorite cozy sweater.

Christmas Eve Dinner

Christmas is finally here! One more night until you can tear into all those presents under the tree. You just need to get through this one family dinner that you and your mom have been slaving over all day. You want to look nice, but also be comfortable throwing on an apron to help out in the kitchen.  A simple skirt, feminine blouse, and classic pump will do just the trick.

Family Downtime

Christmas is over, no more presents to open, and everyone is wiped out.  It’s time to kick back at home or head out to the movies. Either way, it’s time to relax with the family. Now is the time to really recycle your wardrobe. Keep it comfortable in your favorite ballet flats, break out those jeans you traveled home in, and throw on your favorite cozy sweater that you wore out shopping. It’s that simple.

New Year’s Eve

It’s party time! Ring in the New Year rocking that sparkly new dress you’ve been dying to show off and those sexy stilettos you don’t get to wear nearly enough. Throw back some champagne and have a blast with your friends, and don’t forget to keep your eyes peeled for that perfect someone to share a New Year’s kiss with.
